Vamos a brindar por lo que se acaba, pero más que todo por lo que viene. Sin quedarse a mirar para atrás.
Un brindis por mis héroes trabajadores-humanos, por el que sigue casado aunque sabe que es una batalla perdida, por la madre que deja todo por su hij@, por la mujer que da el cuerpo para tener amor, por el que enseña sin interés.
Por el que comparte lo poco que tiene. Por los que no envidian y regalan, por los que me han perdonado por algo que les hice. Por los que no lo harán jamás.
Por la Negrita que mi alma extraña tanto, por el Migue y su mamá, por los Monks y la joyería. Por los que acaban de llegar y ya enredan agradablemente mi vida. Por los lejanos que son tan geniales.
Por los niños que veo trabajar a diario, por los que trabajarán para que otros se diviertan, por los creadores, por los consumidores. Por los graciosos. Por los jodidos. Por los inconformes. Por los que sonríen.
Voy a brindar por ellos y a quedarme en dulces sueños, pues la prisa me va a abandonar por una noche, porque la melancolía merece soledad.
